Joe Biden mulls third reelection of President Kamala Harris

OPINION:

President Joe Biden is said to be spending this holiday season in deep thought about another run for the Senate, err, make that another run as President Kamala Harris’ sidekick, err, oops, make that a third term in the White House. Or something, something, anyway. Which is it, Joe?

If this is the hope of the Democrats, Republicans are poised to breeze into the White House 2024.

“Biden, who just turned 80, remains in many Democrats’ minds the party’s best shot at retaining the White House in 2024,” The Hill wrote, in a piece that was headlined, “Biden mulls 2024 plans as Democrats weight generational shift.”

It’s an interesting headline given half the time one wonders if Biden is capable of mulling anything and the other half the time, whether he truly knows he’s president of the United States.

“Joe Biden calls Kamala Harris ‘President,’” YouTube reported in December of 2021.

It wasn’t his only time.

“Biden calls VP Kamala Harris a ‘great president’ in gaffe during White House event,” Fox News reported in October.

Then, Biden also wished Harris a happy birthday — saying the 58-year-old vice president had just “turned 30.”

Things happen.

Mistakes are made.

“In January 2021,” Fox wrote, “[Biden] referred to ‘President Harris’ during remarks on voting rights.”

Things just happen to happen to this president a bit more frequently than they do other people.

Among Biden’s other things: From YouTube, the August headline, “Biden ‘forgets’ then shakes hand in thin air.” From The Telegraph, the April headline, “Moment Joe Biden shakes hands with thin air after speech.” From YouTube, the September headline, “Joe Biden wanders off ‘dazed and confused’ after last speech.” From Sky News, the September headline, “Joe Biden ‘had another senior’s moment’ after ‘calling on dead woman.’” And shortly after, this headline, from The Independent: “White House struggles to explain why Biden called out dead congresswoman.”

Can you say awkward?

How about mentally disordered? Or national security risk?

“He plans to run,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said just a few days ago, about Biden’s 2024 intents, The Hill reported. “He said himself … that he’s going to have a private conversation with his family … to make that decision.”

Apparently, according to media, Biden will announce his decision to the American people in early 2023.

Or, as Biden might say: “I’ll be announcing my decision on a second term for Senate in early 2020.”

If he remembers, that is.
