Tory leadership contest: Rishi Sunak would lose in final member vote against three rivals, Yougov poll show

Rishi Sunak could lose the Tory leadership contest in a run-off against all three of his rivals in the race to succeed Boris Johnson in No 10, according to a new members’ poll.

The YouGov poll — published ahead of the fourth ballot of MPs — shows the former chancellor would be defeated by Penny Mordaunt, Liz Truss and Kemi Badenoch, who could be eliminated today.
